Alfreton CTC Runs List

Although each run is moderately paced, participants are expected to be able to cover the expected distance comfortably. They should carry a basic tool kit including a spare inner tube and pump, a waterproof and a spare layer of clothing. In the winter months and evenings, lights must be carried. If you have any queries about our rides or about cycling equipment, please contact us, and we will be pleased to advise.

Slow Rides

A ride designated as slow will typically be ridden at 10 - 11mph, excluding stops, and there will be frequent stops to regroup.

Moderate Rides

A ride designated as moderate typically be ridden at 12 - 13mph, excluding stops, and there will be less frequent stops to regroup. So not really all at that fast then!
